About
Sarah Anne Elizabeth Kashka
Fifteen-year-old Sarah Kashka was visiting friends in southwest Fort Worth when she vanished at about 9 p.m. Dec. 30, 1984. She and her mother had recently moved from Fort Worth to Denton, but she was in town for the weekend, staying with her best friend. The friends went on separate dates the night Sarah disappeared. Her date had dropped her off at an apartment complex near her best friend’s house, because Sarah wanted to visit another friend there. That friend wasn’t home, so Sarah walked away toward a Dairy Queen across the street. That was the last time witnesses saw her alive. Her body was found a few days later in an icy creek in southwest Dallas, about 30 miles from where she was taken. Sarah had been stabbed to death.
